The staff was genuinely warm. They were also helpful. My room was spacious and had lovely amenities. Breakfast WAS a delight.
Rooms are old. Rooms are not well maintained. I am from France. I am used to the relais and chateau brand. I understand they try to give a classical appearance. the room had a smell. The classical appearance did not match a typical relais and chateau experience. This was DEFINITELY not worth the money paid.

Really good Service and Central Location

The staff, including Leona and Ryan at the front desk, provided professional service. They helped with outings and difficult stopovers. Door and restaurant staff were also friendly and helpful. The rooms included all comforts and were very spacious. the location was central, providing easy walks to many locations.
I noticed the air conditioning was somewhat noisy.

The front desk agent ryan were really good too assist me with dinner reservations. His help was very appreciated. haans at breakfast was also great. I especially liked the restaurant's atmosphere. i had a cocktail in the lounge barwith a pianist playing. It made the evening very relaxing. the bellmen were very helpful each day.
I found the corkscrew charge a bit much. Other hotels didn't state this. though the location was perfect! the parking was expensive.

i was honestly pretty annoyed. the room they gave me was a beautiful one-bedroom suite and it had a mini bar stocked, though they didn't bother to tell me how expensive everything was. i was shocked to see that they blocked a hefty amount on my credit card for incidentals. it felt excessive and a bit distrustful (i think).
